Synopsis

This giant-sized special was a tip of the hat to such series as Marvel Double Feature and Tales of Suspense. In a flip-book format, it featured complete stories starring two of the Ultraverse’s most popular characters: Prime and Solitaire. In the Prime story, the hero is shot down while flying over a jungle in the heart of Africa. Reverting to his real body, that of a small boy, he is captured by a race of talking apes. These apes hoped to uncover the secret to his powers so that they could stop the advances of humans upon their ancient habitat. The Solitaire story is a tale of obsession with the glory days of Hollywood. Solitaire must track down a murderer who has been stealing old movie artifacts from the homes of collectors. Weirder still, how can it be that the brutal killer appears to be an elderly siren of the silent screen?
